About

Making Our Custom Property Page

Now we will map a property page to the properties ShadowXDiference and ShadowYDiference,
Run again the Property Page Wizard. Click in the Add button and insert for the name of the
our property page ShadowDiference.

If you have done things write there should appear a ShadowPosition page for our control,
ignore the MaxLinkProperties and AnimationProperties that appear here, only the selected
property pages are available to our control. Click in the next button.

Now move the ShadowXDiference and the ShadowYDiference to the ShadowPosition
property page, you can do this by dragging them or selecting them and clicking in the
arrows buttons.

Click next and the wizard will create the property page. This property page will be available in
our project, the standard property pages will not be available.
A property page named ShadowPosition will appear in the project group, if you have the option Toggle folders
selected it will be in the Property Pages folder, now open the property page.

I will just change the labels AutoSize property to true and the caption of the property page object from ShadowPosition
to Shadow Position. Save the property page.
Close this window, the Code Window and the object window of the User Control and go to a form witch contains the
ShadowLabel Control and go to the property Custom witch appear in the top of the properties toolbox and click on the button
witch appears on it.

The property pages will appear, from it we can customize our control appearance.
